>> welcome back. new details emerging on how family members of the alleged l-a-x shooter tried to stop him. officials say 23-year-old paul ciancia is an unemployed motorcycle mechanic who recently moved to los angeles from new jersey. his family back east notified new jersey authorities after they became concerned he was about to do something violent. l-a-p-d was contacted and officers visited the suspect's home the morning of the shooting but missed him by about 45-minutes. ciancia opened fire at l-a-x killing a t-s-a worker, wounding five others on friday. one woman who knows ciancia and his three roommates - spoke to c-n-n, she says ciancia was plotting his crime. >> he asked one of the romantic and taken to the airport. he stated that he was on his way back home.

>> did anyone ever see his ticket? >> no. he just mentioned what the day he had to leave. he just knocked on the door and said he just needed to leave. >> again, the roommate that dropped him off told police he had no knowlege of ciancia's plan. investigators say they found a handwritten letter by ciancia that read of his intention to kill multiple tsa officers. he is facing charges of "murder of a federal officer" and committing violence at an international airport. ciancia is currently in the hospital where investigators >> the time is now on 9:11 a.m.. new details in a security scare that happened aboard a flight headed for s-f-o. police arrested a man on suspicion of public intoxication after he allegedly made threats aboard a jet blue flight from long beach to s-f-o friday night. screamed "this plane is once the flight arrived at sfo. officers searched the

plane and the man's luggage. they didn't find anything suspicious. police escorted the passenger off the plane and booked him into san mateo >> an incredible tale of survival when 2 planes collide in mid-air.both those planes were filled with skydivers..everyone survived this in superior wisconsin. the planes colliding in the air last evening over northwestern wisconsin. it happened at 12,000 feet, as the two planes were flying in formation. one plane with 4 skydivers,. the other with 5. the impact caused a fireball and sheared off the right wing of one of the planes, but all the skydivers on the two planes were able to jump ejected using an emergency parachute and suffered minor injuries. the pilot of the second plane landed safely. >> the time is 9:12 a.m.. coming up we will continue to falter weather and
